St. Michaels Mount

The brief to re-brand the icon that is St. Michaels Mount was a design challenge. The brief was to make the Mount a destination for a younger target market and to provide a fresher look and feel for the organisation.

One complexity for the project was the relationship between the National Trust and the St. Aubyn family who live on the Mount itself. The branding had to reflect this partnership and had work in conjunction with the National Trust's existing comprehensive brand guidelines.

The new identity we created for the Mount presents the organisation as a lighter and more approachable venue rather that the dark and remote image of old.

The identity has been carried through from the brand guidelines we created to, the company's printed material, their website, advertising, an exhibition, signage and the internal wayfinding on the Mount itself.

Jump Media continues to work with St. Michaels Mount and the most recent aspects of the re-brand is the design of beanies, name badges and menus for the Island Cafe.
